On June 1st, 1978 the Dynamite Kid became the first ever Stampede Wrestling British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Champion. A title he would go on to hold on 4 different occasions. Fueding with the likes of Bret Hart and Norman Frederick Charles III.
