This design is pulled straight from the ring vest Dynamite Kid wore outside the WWF, when the work was heavier and the stages were unforgiving. Pacific Northwest. Stampede. All Japan. No television polish. Just results.
The skull and bolt became part of his armor during his 1983 run as NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion, and it stayed with him through his final stretch in Stampede Wrestling in 1988–89 and into All Japan Pro Wrestling in the early ’90s.
This shirt honors the years when Dynamite Kid wasn’t a brand. He was a weapon. Worn into the ring, worn into history.
